How to Register for TOEFL

TOEFL is not offered in every nation in the worlds, so it  is imperative for people to go online and check the countries that offer since walk-ins in their stations is not allowed. The method used for registration is none other than online registration.

Apparently, in online registration, TOEFL allow people to register 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, they recommend student to be sure about the name he or she use when registering and it should be matches the identification that he or she go with on test day. The student is needed to enter at least one form of identification before he or she can register for a test date.

The company allows the student to pay for their exam via debit cards, American Express, credit cards, or VISA among other things. For the last one decade, they are allowing payment via PayPal or an electronic check if one has a bank account in the United States or its territories. However, Master cards and E-checks are not allowed in some countries such as Ghana, Kenya, and Nigeria among other countries. The test typically closes seven days before a student test date; the late registration stays open till fours prior the test date. The late registration fees is $40.

Test takers who have disabilities or health-related needs can bring along their specially required equipment, beverages and food into the exam hall, take extra or extended breaks, or if they even require extra accommodation can apply for those by registering through a mail and also need to register by the Bulletin Supplement for those candidates who have disabilities.

Summary, in spite of the fact that this TOEFL is done via online registration, the company recommend various ways to register, and those are via phone or by email.
